Rental Terms and Conditions

Article 1: Rental Conditions

• Minimum age: The Renter must be at least 25 years old.
• Driver's license: The Renter must have held a valid driver's license for at least 3 years.
• Required documents: The Renter must provide a photo of their passport and driver's license (as well as their flight ticket if they wish to pick up the vehicle at the airport).
• The passport will be kept during the rental period.

Article 2: Security Deposit

• A security deposit of €250 to €300 will be held from the Renter upon handing over the keys.
• This deposit will be refunded upon the vehicle's return if it is returned in its original condition, without damage, and with a full tank of fuel.
• The car is the customer's responsibility in the event of an accident, theft, or any other damage. Repair costs will be borne by the customer.
• In the event of an accident, theft, or damage, the Renter must immediately inform the Rental Company and the competent authorities.

Article 4: Mileage

• The rental includes a mileage of 280 km per day. Any additional kilometer will be charged at 30 DA/km.

Article 5: Overtime Hours

In the event the scheduled return time is exceeded, overtime fees will be applied as follows:

• Up to 5 hours late: a surcharge of 500 DA per hour will be billed.
• Beyond 5 hours late: a full rental day will be billed.

Article 6: Maintenance and Vehicle Condition

• The vehicle is provided to the Renter in good working condition and with a full tank of fuel.
• The Renter agrees to maintain the vehicle in good condition and to return it clean and with a full tank of fuel. Otherwise, cleaning and/or fuel charges will apply.

Article 7: Vehicle Usage

• The Renter agrees to use the vehicle solely for personal use and to comply with current traffic regulations.
• Transporting goods, hazardous materials, or using the vehicle for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.
• It is forbidden to leave the national territory with the vehicle without written authorization from the Rental Company.

Article 8: Additional Drivers

• The customer is required to inform us if an additional driver is added for the rented vehicle.
• All drivers must meet the same license and age requirements as the Renter.

Article 9: Contract Termination

• The Rental Company reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time in the event of non-compliance with the rental conditions.
• In case of termination by the Renter before the rental end date, no refund will be issued for the remaining period.

Article 10: Disputes and Competent Jurisdiction

• In the event of a dispute relating to the execution or interpretation of this contract, the parties agree to submit to the competent courts of Annaba.
